GOOD LUCK METEHAN YILMAZ

Discovered by our Altınordu Buca Football Schools (AFO), Metehan Yilmaz then played for our Academy teams. Our captain, who also wore the U16 National Team jersey, signed his professional contract with our club in the 2018-2019 season and also played for our pilot team, Niğde Anadolu FK. The 24 year old player returned to our First Team in the 2021-2022 season and successfully represented our Altınordu jersey as our team captain last season.

METEHAN YILMAZ: TIME TO LEAVE THE NEST

Speaking to Altınordu Tv after the transfer process, our captain Metehan Yilmaz said, "I was just a 12 year old boy when I first entered this club. I grew up here, got married, and built my home. Now it's time to leave the nest and embark on new adventures. I want to thank my coaches, club staff, and especially our president for all their efforts. I constantly talk to the young players at Altınordu and tell them to work hard, be patient, and not rush. I believe they will eventually succeed. I hope all my young brothers achieve their goals."
