Teke Mehmet, transferred from İzmirspor in 1979, proudly wore the Altınordu jersey for a full 6 years. He stood out in midfield with his superior technique and made a name for himself with his free-kicks and penalties. His spectacular free-kick goal at Atatürk Stadium against İzmirspor and his goal against Göztepe are among the unforgettable goals. He played a significant role in the TSYD Cup victory against Altay in the 1979-80 season, converting the final penalty and bringing joy to Altınordu. He left Altınordu in 1985.
