Rıdvan Gacamer, born in 1933 in Balıkesir, joined Altınordu at the age of 18. In the season he arrived, he played in the Altınordu A team with young players like Beytullah Baliç and Ekrem Koldaş. Over 8 seasons, Gacamer, who played as a center forward, scored many beautiful goals. He had a great partnership with left winger Altan Güler, and the fans often chanted "ALTAN-RIDVAN GOAL."

In his last season, 1958-59, Rıdvan Gacamer shared the red and navy blue jersey with his brother Adnan Gacamer, who joined Altınordu from the Adalet team. In 1959, he and his brother transferred to Kasımpaşa. Rıdvan Gacamer ended his active football career in 1965 and later served as a coach for the Kasımpaşa team.
