Born in 1944 in Manisa, Mümin Özkasap joined Altınordu in 1963. He earned the nickname "Kedi Mümin" (Mümin the Cat) with his spectacular saves in matches. Mümin Özkasap, who was very agile in front of the goal, was selected to the Under-21 and Senior National Teams multiple times. He served as the goalkeeper for Altınordu uninterrupted for 5 seasons from 1963 to 1968, and in 1968, he transferred to Eskişehirspor.
