BÜLENT ESEL (1959-1963)(4 YEARS)

Also known as "Kasatura Bülent," Bülent Esel was known for his strong physique and powerful long-range shots.

Born in Ankara in 1927, Bülent Esel started his football career at Kırıkkalespor and played for Ankaragücü and Beşiktaş. In 1951, he transferred to Palermo Spal in Italy's Serie A league. He scored 27 goals in 3 seasons in that league. Bülent Esel represented the Turkish national team 8 times. In 1959, he joined Altınordu and played for the club for 4 seasons, serving as team captain. He retired from football at Altınordu and also worked as a coach for 4 seasons at the club. He played a significant role as a coach under the guidance of Manager Molnar during Altınordu's championship-winning 1965-66 2nd League season. Bülent Esel passed away on August 17, 2004.
