BEHCET ARKUN (1966-1970) (4 YEARS)

Behçet Arkun, who started playing football at the age of 16 in the Alibeyköyspor team, transferred to Altınordu on November 16, 1966, after playing for Feriköy for 3 seasons. Arkun, who initially started as a left-back in the Altınordu eleven, later played as a stopper in all Altınordu matches.

Having joined Altınordu in the middle of the 1966-67 season, Behçet Arkun played in 106 League matches, 9 Turkish Cup matches, and a total of 155 matches, including 40 Spor Toto, TSYD Cup, and friendly matches. Behçet Arkun played in all Altınordu matches except for the first match of the 1968-69 season against Göztepe, which ended in a 1-0 victory for Altınordu. This footballer, made of steel, neither received a penalty nor suffered an injury. He scored 6 goals with the red-blue jersey against KSK, Mersin İ.Y., Göztepe, F. Bahçe, Kütahyaspor (cup), and Altay.

As seen in the attached photo, one of Altınordu's unforgettable goals was scored by Behçet Arkun with a hard shot from a corner kick in the last minute against F. Bahçe in the 1966-67 season. Behçet Arkun transferred to Adanaspor in the 1970-71 season.
